Seven of Cups Upright Meaning
The Seven of Cups is the paralysis of choice, made worse by the fact that several of the choices are not real. Daydreams, half-offers, plans that exist only in the version where everything cooperates. When it appears, you are holding more options than you have information about, and the sheer pleasure of imagining them is doing a good job of postponing the decision. What it costs is time, and eventually credibility. The cure is unglamorous: find out which of these is actually available. One phone call usually eliminates three of them, and the remaining choice is often much clearer than the fog suggested.

Reversed, clarity arrives. The illusions drop away, one option becomes obviously the real one, or you finally pick something and feel the relief of a narrowed world.
